Why Buy Preforeclosures?

There are many benefits that go along with buying pre foreclosures. The main reason why most people do not purchase them is that they have very little idea of what they are doing and where to begin looking for them.

The really big advantage of preforeclosures over foreclosures is the price. Remember, owners in preforeclosure sale (PFS) are under time pressure to sell the property before the courts force the sale and the banks takes it. This suggest that they will be inclined to take a good offer that comes along so that they have a chance of preserving some of the equity they may have remaining the property. What this means to you is that it is possible to find preforeclosures that are as much as 50% off the market value .

The other major advantage is that you will be able to deal directly with the owner which places you in the drivers seat . If the homeowner rejects you offer and fails to sell their property the end result may be that they lose everything. Not a very nice outcome. If it works out and they sell their home to you, when the deal closes they may end up walking away with a check.
